Digitek MDL (Multidistrict Litigation) Assigned To Southern District Of West Virginia

Judge Joseph R. Goodwin Will Preside Over All Digitek Lawsuits Filed In Federal Court System For Discovery Phase Of These Cases

On August 13, 2008 the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation (JPMDL) granted a petition filed by plaintiffs and created a Digitek multidistrict litigation (MDL).

All pending Digitek cases and all future Digitek lawsuits filed in the federal court system will be centralized for discovery purposes in the Southern District of West Virginia before Judge Joseph R. Goodwin, in the case captioned In Re: Digitek Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 1968, JPMDL.

Previously, Judge Goodwin presided over the Serzone federal court MDL litigation which also had been assigned to the Southern District Of West Virginia by the JPMDL.
