Beyaz Information
What is Beyaz?
Beyaz birth control pills contain ethinyl estradiol and the new "fourth generation" progestin drospirenone (DRSP) plus 0.451 mg of levomefolate calcium, a form of folate or folic acid.
Beyaz contains the same estrogen-progestin combination as YAZ, 20 mcg ethinylestradiol (EE) / 3 mg drospirenone (DRSP). Both Beyaz and YAZ are manufactured by Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals, which is the U.S.-based business arm of Bayer HealthCare LLC, a subsidiary of Bayer AG.

Zarah from Watson Pharmaceuticals; and,
Loryna and Syeda from Sandoz, Inc.
In addition, there is
Safyral, which contains the same estrogen-progestin combination as Yasmin plus 0.451 mg of levomefolate calcium.

- Blood Clots

Ocella, Yasmin, YAZ, Gianvi, Zarah, Loryna, Syeda, Beyaz, And Safyral Can Cause Pulmonary Embolism, Deep Vein Thrombosis, Stroke, And Heart Attack
Some medical journal articles are linking certain birth control pills, such as Ocella, Yasmin, YAZ, Gianvi, Zarah, Loryna, Syeda, Beyaz, and Safyral to pulmonary embolism (PE) and deep vein thrombosis (DVT).
